Physical Description:Nascana is a comfortable sort of person. She's of average height, maybe carries a couple of extra pounds that serve to flesh out what curves she has. Her arm muscles are strong and toned from Turns of picking up and carrying around her siblings. Nascana's hair is a light brown that wears to mid-back, but it's rare that anyone sees it not braided back. Her eyes are her best feature, a warm whiskey-brown. The rest of her features are pleasant but unremarkable, with soft planes and a petite nose.
Personality: Nascana is one of those women who was born to be someone's mother. She's attentive to the needs of others, possessed of a solid store of patience, and is always willing to lend an ear to someone's problems. She takes pleasure in seeing her charges grow to their full potential, and will give as much of her time and energy as she has to do to get things done.

Don't make the mistake that she's a pushover, just because she's a soft touch for a sorrowful pair of eyes. Nascana is firm with those she regards as being under her wing, believing that all children require discipline and stability along with love and encouragement. She won't back down once she believes that she's right on something, if she truly believes in her stand. Nascana can be too much of a mother hen at times, hovering too close to overprotectiveness, but she means well.

Habits: Nascana has a clear give-away when she's nervous, stressed, or playing for time- her right hand will go up to play with the few strands of hair that have escaped her braid.
Hobbies: Nascana loves playing with children and taking part in their games, but her own hobby is collecting wooden carvings of whatever takes her fancy at the moment.
History: Nascana was born to Journeyman weaver Tylira and Journeyman miner Poron of Iron Hills, the oldest of an eventual seven children. Her father was busy in the mines all day, and her mother at her own craft- Tylira was content to let Nascana take charge of younger siblings as they came along since it suited both of them.

As Nascana grew older, she worked hard to succeed at her lessons. She planned on being as successful as her mother, though she valued her duty to her siblings more than formally apprenticing to a craft. Instead, she began a local apprenticeship with the Hold’s midwife, Maglyn. Nascana was a diligent study and a steady hand, and progressed very nicely through her apprenticeship.

Nascana had just begun to attend a few births solo when the arrival of a green dragon from the Weyr disrupted her life. The green Searched Nascana and two of her younger brothers, Ondorin and Tylmer. She at first refused to go, not able to see herself on a fighting dragon, but finally decided to accept the Search in order to keep an eye on her brothers. She'll remain in candidacy until they Impress-or she does.

Physical Description:Penmyth is a bright, showy looking Queen. Her hide is a rich, mellow rose gold, except for soft antique smears along her muzzle. Her wingsails are nearly new penny coppery, giving her a stunningly bold appearance. Her frame has the large bones and sturdiness that the Northern Barrier line seems to throw, but her muzzle and neck are longer then the usual. When grown, it is likely she will be the size of her Grandmother Quilth, if not slightly larger.
Personality:Northern Barrier�s bloodline seems to produce a certain-mildness in it�s Queens, and Penmyth is no exception. Flirtatious and coy, Penmyth is a playful, vain, self centered and fluttery Queen. Not only does she already like the admiration of a handsome male, but she�s not at all shy about angling for a steady stream of compliments, grooming, and amusement to be the center of attention. Failure to obtain them or being made to do something she doesn�t want to...will currently cause her to become pouty and intractable. Melodramatic complaints and outbursts and occasional keening for no reason other then upset are also possibilities with her dramatic nature.

However, faults aside, she is an extraordinarily clever and mostly sweet tempered dragon, with a unique talent for thinking outside the box and seeing unusual solutions for problems...when she can be convinced that it�s interesting, or she�s cozened into it. Half of her temperamental streak comes from that intelligence, and her impatience when others don�t follow along when she�s already worked things out. Penmyth is also blessed with a remarkable memory, able to remember names, and details of events for far longer then most of her kind. Something that can be good or bad depending on the situation.
