Physical Description: Morozan's jet black hair falls in soft waves to his neck, framing a harsh-planed oval face. The hair and his wide, dark blue eyes soften his look a bit. He's tall, but thin and wiry. He isn't ugly, but age will add the dignity he needs to look handsome. Morozan prefers loose shirts and trousers, and tries to keep a neat appearance. He favors greens and browns.
Personality: Morozan has the easy confidence of someone who knows what he is and where he's going in life. He does not ever consider the notion that he won't be one of the high-flying defenders of Pern someday, and in the meantime, he enjoys tutoring the newer candidates about the quirks of weyrlife that aren't always taught in the classroom. Morozan isn't the most intellectual person out there, preferring to learn things by doing instead of study in the classroom. He is a strong supporter of the Weyr's traditions, loyal to a fault, and has a harder time adjusting to change than most.

Hobbies: Morozan likes playing football (soccer).
History: Morozan is Telgar weyrbred, and proud of it. His paternal line have been riders so long as there’s been a Weyr (so the family story goes), and his mother is a respectable journeyman harper who taught the Weyr’s younger children. He had an average childhood playing with the other weyrbrats, and loved to sneak off to explore all the older, unused parts of the Weyr.

Morozan got in his share of trouble, but straightened out as his twelfth birthday approached- he wouldn’t do anything to jeopardize his eligibility for candidacy. He was a model candidate, and passed six Turns in the comforting routine. He would have been happier to Impress, though, and after Telgar’s last clutch began thinking about trying at another Weyr.

Before Morozan could transfer, though, an outbreak of White Kiss struck the barracks, brought by candidates snatched from Northern Barrier territory. Seven died and Morozan counted himself lucky to catch the disease and survive, even if he still didn’t feel right for sevendays afterward. He leapt at the chance to leave when Kabibe called for candidates to offer Northern Barrier in apology, and hopes his chances of Impression will be better there.
