Navvies FC are a much respected gentlemen's association in Pudsey. After being founded in 1999 the Navvies formed their own football team, the Navvies FC. The team joined the Leisure Centre league in summer 2001, quickly making a name for themselves with a groundbreaking 21-1 loss. The moral victors at every corner the Navvies FC continued in this fashion before departing for the Skylark League. This sojourn lasted two years before the bulk of the squad transferred to LAN City. However, the Navvies are back in their home town league - finshing third in their return season. Promotion followed in the summer of 2005, with the club now poised to take on the powerhouses of the Premier League
