Navvy Polls
At last there is a page devoted to Navvy polls! It is hoped that this will enable us to come to, ahem, less angry decisions about everything. From "Which is worse premature balding or premature grey hair?" to "Pete: out of the Navvies. Yes or no?"
It is hope thatthis page will be able to solve all the greatest problem in our club's running. Polls will be conducted every two weeks (due to sponsership constraints) and the results will be logged below)

 It is the fight that has been brewing for years. A true David and Goliath tale conducted in the ring. This is the first ever Navvy boxing match and will stick to the rules of boxing, rather than the street. Despite this disadvantage Maff has promised a blur of fists so frenzied that Tom won't know what has hit him until he sees the super slow-mo replay. Tom promises a short sharp burst of "death from above" on the short chef. Whoever wins, the viewers win. How do you think the match will go?

In order to find the Navvies an official home we polled the Navvyweb faithfull to find us a suitable speakeasy. Of all the contenders only two were able to collect votes. Of these there was a split of:

The Bankhouse: 33.333%
The Junction : 66.667%

Clearly the Junction is now the Navvy local, feel free to join us on a Wednesday for the quiz or on any night of the week for fruit machine fun and love and care from Joycey and her fat barmaid.

The official results are now in for our first poll. These are:

Clearly the majority of the voters have high hopes for upcoming season, with only a third of voters thinking we will be out of the top half of the table. Overall we can average out the results and say that the official verdict is that Navvies will finish in: 3rd to 4th place
