Sometime in mid 2001, I bought a all-in-one one foot aquarium comprising of an integrated overflow filter and flourescent lamp for my seven year old son. Soon it became MY tank while I bought my son 2 turtles and a glass bowl in exchange. Only when I acquired a 2 foot tank did I relinquish this integrated tank back to my son. Hey, this is what fatherly love is all about ;-)
Well I got hooked to the very satisfying hobby : I searched for articles in the web, visited all the LFS around the island (Singapore of course), borrowed and read all sorts of books from the national library.
Very soon I had a 5 foot tank in my living room. So here's a photographic narration of my beautiful journey .....
