KJERSTIN "JENNIE" JONSDOTTER4 BERGLUND (JONS3 NILSSON, NILS2 MATTSSON, MATTHES1 JONSSON) was born December 11, 1857 in Holmarna, Grasmark, Varmland, Sweden, and died July 13, 1941 in Montrose, McCook County, South Dakota. She married OLE OLSSEN BRATMOE October 25, 1887 in Meraker, Norway, son of OLE PEDERSEN and ANE OLDSDOTTER. He was born August 22, 1865 in Bratmoe, Meraker, Norway, and died April 22, 1938 in Montrose, McCook County, South Dakota. Both are buried in Salem, McCook County, South Dakota.

Kjerstin resided in Grasmark, Varmland, Sweden until November 1875 when she moved to Asen, Liden, Vasternorrland, Sweden. In 1881 she moved to Ragunda, Jamtland, Sweden. No one is certain when she moved to Norway. The passenger list in Trondheim, Norway, shows that Ole Olsen Bratmoe, Age 23, passenger number 1408 and Kristina Bratmoe, Age 27, passenger number 1409, sailed from Trondheim, Norway for Sioux Falls, South Dakota on April18, 1888.

He married MARTHA CATARINA MAGNUSDOTTER December 09, 1890 in Hoglunda, Stugun, Jamtland, Sweden, daughter of MAGNUS JACOBSSON and CHRISTINA ANDERSDOTTER. She was born June 28, 1868 in Stromsnas, Stugun, Jamtland, Sweden.

Notes for JOHAN "JOHN" JONSSON BERGLUND:
At first John went by the name of John Johnson. Since there were so many Johnsons in the Weaver area, he changed his name to John Berglund. (Berglund was the name his two uncles, Magnus and Nels, used when coming to North America).

The Passenger List for Immigrants into the United States through Philadelphia, Pennsylvania showed the following members of JOHAN JONSSON family arriving on July 13 1891 on the "SS Lord Gough" destined for Wabasha, Minnesota: Passenger #141, Johan Jonsson, age 23 years; Passenger #142, Marta Jonsson, age 22 years; Passenger #143, Anna Jonsson, Infant.

Jeanette first married Gustav and then divorced him and married William. She divorced William and remarried Gustav. After Gustav's death, she married James Hazen. There were no children.
