This character is very interesting. You will get to know her by two names. First, she is the Blood Queen of United Babylon. The immortal mother of living abominations. You will also get to know her as Gomorrah, named for one of the ancient cities damned and destroyed by God. She is a character who is more important to this story than she probably would have liked to be. Her influence is far reaching and in a way, she is still the naieve 15 year old girl she died as 4000 years ago. |

This is one of the cornerstones of this story. She influences everything that happens. I can't tell you much more about the why's and how's without giving away the plot. Just say that NO ONE should have this much power. As you can tell from her name, she is the Blood Queen's sister. Their father named them Sodom and Gomorrah as a statement to the creator. This character and I have a love hate relationship. Because of her capabilities, she is a joy and a pain to draw... over and over again.This is a character you'll have to watch very closely. Everything she does and says is instrumental and pivotal to the story. She is an enigma that few will ever come to understand. |

This is a character you will love to hate. Her name is Shaira, and she is hated by almost every person in the comic. She is the personal assistant of Mr. Solomon, and daughter of the Blood Queen and Sadiq. She is definitely the best at what she does, which is gather information. Her talent for reading between the lines makes her a valuable spy and ally. However, she has a hard time utilizing the knowledge she gains without outside guidance and help. My teacher once told me, "Knowledge without patience and humility is stupidity." Shaira's problem is that she often tries to put her knowledge to work before she truly has the wisdom or understanding to use it. This makes her cold and ruthless when combined with her hard streak of jealousy. Shaira represents the number 1, which means, knowledge. |

This character's name is Sadiq. He is a rogue member of one of 12 tribes of wandering spiritualists called the Murmuring Hunters. He now lives in the Inner City Megalopolis and is a senior member of the Underground Police Force. He is 6'9" and 530 lbs. Despite his huge size, he is extremely fast and agile, and is one of two legendary Moorish fighters in Inner City. In his younger days, he ran across a strange United Babylonian girl dressed in red and radiating power. His daughter, Shaira, was the result of that union. He protects his daughter at all costs, whether she is right or wrong. This, and his devotion to his best friend and partner, Meeku Rafeek, get him into a lot of trouble... especially when he gets on the bad side of Mr. Soloman. |
