A BUS CROWD

The bus was moving the best it could, considering its state of discomposure. The machine was almost too loud to hear your own thoughts. Only the screeching of a violin could penetrate the noise.
A bus stop finally. A male voice sang from the top of Gypsy lungs.
- …. Jel' joj ime Danka
Il je Branka….
… Srbijankaaaaa…

Jelek, anterije I opanci
po tome se znaju Srbijanci.

A female black coat moaned about being always punctual but, such a bad luck that she was running late today for work because of that stupid bus. The black coat simply could not be comforted by a female blue jacket girtle. She just knew she would be somehow punished for arriving late today.
There in front, a black wristwatch on a gentle male hand was bragging to someone about his successes in a video game. It had something to do with fighting, combat, deadly fighting or mortal combat.
The rocking and the deafening humming began again. And the violin continued tickling the nerves. There was some commotion in the back. The black coat jerked and leaned completely on the blue jacket girtle. Some old-fashioned swear words hit the ears. Fortunately, the situation turned into a monotonous agitating ride till the next stop.
A Gypsy black ponytail passed swiftly by the black female coat towards the door. The ponytail, as it seemed, was encouraging two young ones to keep pushing their way through. The violin, who was now talking not singing and playing, joined them:
- Oh, thank you, thou good people, … spare me some … as much as you can. Oh, you are all so good, … everyone gives something … God bless you all!
Just as he passed by there was another squeezing session. The wristwatch grunted in
discontent. It was like a wave that passed through the crowd shouting:
- Tickeeets…. Is there anyone who doesn't have … a tickeeet!
The doors were closed again, and a foot on a gas paddle. The foot turned to his colleague,
the ticket collector:
-You know what happened to me today…
But the ticket collector's voice faded away as the wave moved farther. The engine noise prevailed once again.
