Kasey stretched his arms above his head, blinking away the light that shined through the windows. He chuckled as he looked over at Kat who was still asleep, her arm draped across his stomach. Tracing circles on her arm his thoughts drifted back to the previous night.
When her lips touched his jaw line he shuddered at the electricity coursing through his body. �God Kat� Kasey moaned as her hips ground against him, her lips now moving down his neck. He put his hand on the back of her head and pulled her mouth to his, parting her lips with his tongue. They kissed intensely, their hands roaming all over each others body.
�Ugh� Kat groaned as her cell phone vibrated across the nightstand. �Yeah?� she answered harshly after looking at the caller ID. �Not now it isn�t a good time� she said, pausing to listen to what was being said on the other end of the line. Her eyes turned to slits and Kasey could tell she was getting pissed when he saw her clench her jaw. �Whatever Danny� she spat before hanging up. Kat put her head down on Kasey�s chest as he wrapped his arms around her. �Well that was a mood killer� he said, chuckling slightly. Kat rolled off him and laid down beside him, placing her head on his chest. �Maybe it�s for the best� Kasey stated, noticing she was upset. �You should figure this stuff out with Danny before you complicate the situation more�. Kat nodded and closed her eyes.
�Mornin sunshine� Kat said, snapping Kasey out of his daze. �Mornin� he said, smiling at Kat�s disheveled appearance. �Look about last night�� Kat started but was interrupted by Kasey �like I said last night, I want you to figure this stuff out with Danny. If anything is meant to happen between you and I then it will� Kasey finished, running a finger along Kat�s cheek. She smiled, knowing that Kasey was right.
Getting up, Kat headed towards the bathroom to take a shower. �Hey, I might not be here when you get out so�.� Kasey trailed off. Kat smirked at him, even though he was a NASCAR driver that was constantly in the spotlight, he was still so shy. �I will see you tonight Kase� she said before shutting the door.
Chuckling, Kat undressed and got into the shower. Letting the warm water run all over her body, she began to think about her situation. On one hand she had Danny, who up until last night was a perfect gentleman. She thought about the conversation they had, remembering the hurtful words he had spoke to her.
�Melissa I should have known you were nothing but a slut� he spat, his voice shaky from anger. Kat just sighed, she knew in her heart all of his words were out of complete anger, but they were still harsh. Kat just listened, knowing that if this man knew her true identity, if he really knew her than he wouldn�t be as pissed as he was.
Kat laid her head, which was starting to throb, against the cold tile. �And then there was Kasey� she said to herself.
After her shower, Kat changed into a pair of jean shorts and a tank top. Sitting on the couch, she dialed the one person�s number who she knew could give her advice.
After the third ring, he finally picked up. �Hello�� he said in a silly voice. �Kale you goof, what are you up to?� she asked, curling her feet up underneath her. �Not much, just sitting here waiting for Kasey to get back.� He answered. �Good, I can talk to him� she thought before she spoke. �Look Kale I need some advice� Kat said, a little nervous about the conversation she was about to have. �Shoot� he said, walking away from the garage.
Kat explained to him the predicament she found herself in, leaving out the part about her and Kasey almost sleeping together the night before. Kale listened, nodding as Kat talked, even though she couldn�t see him. �So basically you don�t know if you want to work things out with Danny or attempt something with Kasey? Well, that is quite a spider web you are in� Kale said, attempting to be funny. �Kale, what should I do?� Kat asked, slumping down on the couch. Something her mother had always warned her was �very unattractive and not ladylike at all�. Kale started to speak but stopped �Hey Kase what�s up?� he asked, almost as a hint to Kat that he couldn�t give her advice. �Kale call me back when he leaves� she said as she hung up the phone. Sitting back, she started again to think of what she should do about her situation.
