Multimedia - A Fun Tutorial

This, 'FUN TUTORIAL' is a multimedia educational package for the kindergarten students. Made in Macromedia Authorware 6.0, it includes Rhymes, Songs & Lullabies, Fairy Tales, etc as needed to teach a student of kindergarten.

3D Game Engine

This is a 3D Game Engine developed as a mini-project as a part of the academic curriculum for the 4th Semester of the BTech course, IIIT. The engine consists of a library of various classes and methods that are a part of an FPS-genre of game engine. The library is developed in Visual C++ using the Windows API and OpenGL graphics library.

Authentication Server

This is a java code that implements an Authentication Server. The server is a third part host that authenticates one host for the other. The message passing done in this process is encoded using the RSA Encryption Algorithm.

    Enterprise Desktop Portal

    This was undertaken as the mini-project of the 5th semester. This was developed for 'divine India Ltd.', Hyderabad. The Enterprise Desktop Portal is basically a web-based application, built on an Employee Management System, that would not only queries and updates the employee database but also helps the management take appropriate decisions in their daily routine with the help of the PERT-CPM Analysis. Also it includes groupware features like a Shared Project workspace, a Discussion Forum, and a Scheduler.

    Website (using JSP, HTML & Javascript)

    This is an enterprise project undertaken as a part of the summer training after the 4th Semester during the period June,2002 - July,2002. Revering the secrecy of the company, the details and the code of this project are not available.It consisted of various modules. Also included a login validation, connections to database, querying and updating the database, display of results, searches, etc

    The IIIT-A Placement Brochure for the academic year 2003-2004 was designed by me and my colleague Anoop J.Menon. It was my first endeavour in any professional work and it turned out quite successful.

    Semantic Web Research Project

    The Semantic Web Research Project was one of the two mini-projects undertaken in the sixth semester. Apart from the basic research on the Semantic Web, this project involved the study and integration of the two APIs, viz. the Jena Toolkit of Hewlett Packard Labs, Bristol and the TAP API of the Stanford University, US. To integrate the TAP API into the Jena API, the latter was modified and also a separate package was included into the API. Also, to demonstrate the working of the integration model an example system was developed. Available for download, are:

    Embedding Linux

    This is the second project of the sixth semester. In this project, we intended to port Linux into the iPAQ 3850 but due to the unavailability of the hardware, the project definitions underwent a major change. The project, in toto, consisted of the configuration of the CVS repository and the Cross-compiling Toolchain for the arm architecture. Also it included a suite of simple-to-complex demonstrative programs for the various functionalities offered by the Linux.
