Sue actively served her Lord Jesus in her church memberships all her life. She worked as church secretary in Clinton, MO and Burlington, CO. She also taught adult Sunday school classes and helped out wherever she could.
Sues faith was active in her life. She had a favorite saying to encourage others, PUT YOUR FAITH TO WORK. In later years living alone she would always say, God is taking care of me. Her Lord Jesus was seen in her through her love, loyalty and trust in people. She loved everyone she met and especially young children.
Sues greatest desire, written in by her own hand for her homegoing was, I hope to leave a heritage to my children, grandchildren, family and friends of FAITH in Jesus and love and trust in others. Sue mentioned in her writings, she had learned that when she departed this life, material possessions bequeathed were not important for she had few. She wrote, if not a cent I still have, I still feel my time on earth was well and rightly spent in leaving an inheritance of Faith in Jesus and Love for all.
Her greatest prayer was that all her family would receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior and follow her to the glorious heavenly home Jesus has prepared for all who believe in Him. She prayed this daily for all her family, friends and loved ones. |
