God saw you were getting tired
And a cure was not to be,
So He put His arms around you
And whispered, Come to Me.
With tearful eyes we watched
You and saw you pass away,
And though we loved you dearly,
We could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
Hands were put to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove
To us, He only takes the best.
The Lord bless you and keep you;
The Lord make His face shine
On you, and be gracious to you;
The Lord lift up His Countenance
On you, and give you peace.

July 30, 2007 Mom called saying she couldn't quit vomiting. So after having a spell the day before I knew this must be serious and called the EMT's.
They came and determined only that it might be good for her to go to the hospital and get checked out.
After arriving there the doctors still didn't know what was going on until they did a blood test and determined she was having a heart attack.
The doctors wanted to perform an angiogram and try to put in stints, Mom reluctantly agreed. She had no pain or breathing problems. The procedure was unsuccessful and they lost Mom once during this time. Mom was put in ICU with a breathing tube and heart pump by Tuesday July 31. She was frustrated and they took out the breathing tube and she did well.
However the doctors wanted the heart pump out by Wednesday but we got them to wait until Thursday.
Mom had Tuesday and Wednesday feeling well and visiting with friends and family. She still had no pain or breathing problems and enjoyed the fellowship with mental clarity and a good attitude of faith.
August 2, she had a great time with her Pastor Robert and family. After the heart pump was taken out she visited with Pastor Robert and said her fav scripture Psalm 23 word for word with him. It gave her strength for her journey ahead
Mom said she was tired and needed to rest. At 1:10 the family was told Mom's heart was stopping. The Lord's heavenly angels took her to rest in Jesus arms as a heavenly silence filled the room, and she is Rejoicing in Heaven now.
Those days show how very much the Lord loved and blessed Mom and family in all this.

Yes,a golden heart of loving and giving stopped beating on Aug 2 in this earthly realm, but Mom's spirit is eternally loving and giving in Jesus Presence.
Safely Home
I am home in Heaven, dear ones;
Oh, so happy and so bright!
There is perfect joy and beauty
In this everlasting light.

All the pain and grief is over,
Every restless tossing passed;
I am now at peace forever,
Safely home in Heaven at last.

Did you wonder I so calmly
Trod the valley of the shade?
Oh! But Jesus love illumined
Every dark and fearful glade.

And He came Himself to meet me
In that way so hard to tread;
And with Jesus arm to lean on,
Could I have one doubt or dread?

Then you must not grieve so sorely,
For I love you dearly still:
Try to look beyond earths shadows,
Pray to trust our Fathers Will.

There is work still waiting for you,
So you must not idly stand;
Do it now while life remaineth
You shall rest in Jesus land.

When that work is all completed,
He will gently call you Home
Oh, the rapture of that meeting,
Oh, the joy to see you come!
