My Angel Monkey
I came home today to find Monkey gone. I thought I was going to lose her over the weekend. I had come home on Saturday to find her pretty lifeless in the cage and feared the worst. I tried to get a vets to have her put to sleep but none were open. We think she had a stroke. I spent the weekend nursing her and Sunday night she seemed better. On Monday she was even waddling around again. I gave her a little party with a cake (she licked all the chocolate sauce off it) and took some pictures. I knew she was a fighter and I thought she was gonna be fine. Old age came too soon to my baby and she left me today. I miss her so much already but I am SO grateful that we had one last wonderful weekend together. MONKEY 28/9/04

The 3 pews Ruby, Patience and Honey are fighting respiratory problems. Patience did seem the worst but only this morning Ruby sounds real bad. And just to put the icing on tha cake Truffles lump which had originally shrunk has now grown again.
Squeak has recovered nicely from her op now. There is a little fluid where the tumor was but that should go away in its own time. She was so happy when I finally left the bandage off her. Ruby and Honey now sound fine after a course of zithromax for their breathing. IT didn't do much for Patience though who is now on tablets to remove fluid from her body. This should hopefully slow her heart down. If that fails to work then we will have to try something else.
