Goals of CINP
A section of NAI
The National Association for Interpretation
To further the ability of interpreters and educators to gain and share information about the cultures and history of Native People.
To provide forums and training for those interpreting the cultures and history of Native People.
To promote research and the publication of studies relating to the cultures and history of Native People.
To enhance the pride of indigenous peoples in their history and culture and heighten respect among all people.
To promote a redefinition of history that includes the perspectives of Native Peoples.
To serve as an advocate to institutions in their redefinition of Native People's history and culture.
To promote, consultation with Native Peoples when interpretive development will deal with their culture and history.
