By joining NAI, you have the opportunity to also become a part of activities in one of the ten NAI regions of the country or you might choose to become a part of one of the eleven sections of NAI. By choosing to become a part of the Cultural Interpretation and Living History Section of NAI, you will have the opportunity to network with peers who work at or with similar sites around the world. Members of CILH are a colorful cross section of cultural and living history interpreters who are constantly working to improve their craft. Members will be able to attend the annual National Interpreters Workshop at reduced rates. CILH also offers a biennial Interpretive Workshop in various areas of the country, which focuses on cultural and living history interpretation, and helps members to hone their skills. The quarterly newsletter, Kinship With The Past, keeps members up to date on news in the section, as well as offering unique articles written by CILH members. Soon, CILH members will be able to connect in a dialog about issues concerning Living History and Cultural Interpretation by joining the CILH listserv. For more information about CILH, please contact one of the CILH Regional Representatives near you. |
