Puppies are guaranteed against severe genetic health problems such as hip displaysia. They must have a vet certificate stating the problem (including their microchip #.) The dog must then be spayed or neutered. Replacement pup out of next litter will be offered. This is good until pup's second birthday.

Puppy / dog is not to be kept on a chain. They are social animals and require human contact. Occasional chaining is acceptable, but not for long periods or on a frequent basis.

All pups purchased without limited papers are to be bred according to proper color set by the Great Dane Color Code of Ethics. Fawn and brindle bred only to brindle and fawn only, blue to blue or black, etc. Crossing of colors is discouraged. Danes are to be bred to improve the breed.
