PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word. The first course of my technology
degree plan, namely, ITEC 1301 gave me an in-depth inspection of
computer applications in Technology

Development: |
My first web page was my home page, which has evolved into this
portfolio

| SQL
and Relational Databases: |
I first started to learn about relational databases in ITEC 3365
where my team was responsible for developing an online video database
with a front-end web interface. Since then, I have also written
SQL statements to update portions of assignments for that class.

| Object-Oriented
Programming: |
My first exposure to object-oriented programming was with C. Learning
about the syntax of the language and writing basic programs, I worked
with the basic concepts of classes and objects. Next, I learned
about Java and its influence on the Internet in ITEC 2336, Internet
Applications Development.

| Javascript: |
I have learned to implement Javascript in my web development when
I need to create a moving image, or other application. ITEC 2336
familiarized me with Internet and World Wide Web technologies and
construction and maintenance of websites.

| Microsoft Visio
and Project: |
Working on an extensive number of projects as an IST student, I
have become familiar with Visio and Project to create timelines,
charts, data-flow diagrams and entity relationship diagrams.

| Adobe and Macromedia
Products: |
While creating Javascript and developing various home pages, I have
used software applications such as Flash, Dreamweaver, Photoshop,
InDesign, and ImageReady.

| Networking and
Telecommunications |
I developed my own house's network, which has two commercial Digital
Suscriber Lines and a 100.0 Mbps internal connection. I also troubleshoot
network problems for the MNSData Consultants Inc.

Communications
Skills
|
A part from presenting in all technology classes, I have developed
my communication skills by taking COMM 3356 Business & Prof
Communications. Working for Palais Royal as a Sales Associate and
Customer Relations Representative also helped me excel my communication
skills.
