In 2000 Nadia Snow won a talent contest, the prize was recording time.
Embryo was the result of only 5 hours in the studio....Snow is very disciplined...and William Maxwell was the producer. Maxwell is an extremely hig-end professional Bassist/Recording Tech from California.
Embryo is no longer in print but many fans have copies they enjoy.
The name 'Embryo' is a tribute to Feather Gates, a very inspiring sound tech that worked with Snow in her first years, helping her growth immensely.
Snow gave a newly recorded song on tape to Gates unaware that side B had a forgotten song on it...Gates copied the song and labeled it 'Nadia Snow Embryo'.
