Design of a standardised database to record all lost units and disruptions to production flow throughout the plant.
Rear Floor Armature Reliability analysis. Data Collection and Pareto Analysis to identify major breakdown issues to be addressed on this problematic equipment cell, ahead of the weekly production meeting.
Responsibility for the migration of remaining Memo for Windows users to the group standard electronic communication system.
Involvement in planning and implementation of a new HTML based corporate information system. Including the production of a plant-wide presentation to communicate the project as well as responsibilities for progress tracking and problem solving.
Planning for the installation of a new data capture system on a pilot zone. Full responsibility including working with contractors and vendors to gather acceptable quotations that meet strict requirements. Planning and scheduling, as well as project justification and cost control duties, were also undertaken.
As a direct result of my achievement during the year I was selected to represent the manufacturing Industrial Placement scheme.
