Young Enterprise - Director of Marketing, working with a limited budget, negotiating contracts with sponsors, issuing press releases and organising photo shoots. I learnt how to manage time and people effectively and the company went on to win the Area Company of the Year Award.

Duke of Edinburgh's Award
- I have completed the Gold, Silver and Bronze awards. This required commitment to the scheme and long term time management to achieve.

Peer-Assisted Learning Scheme Leader - Leading group discussions between frist year students, facilitating meetings and directing learning and development.

Scouting - I was Chairman of the Patrol Leaders Council and on leaving, I became a Beaver Leader with responsibilitiy for young children, and the organisation of activities for weekly meetings. The Scouting movement gave me the opportunity to try many new activities as well as developing leadership skills.

Other Activities - Including, voluntary work on the Welshpool Light Railway. Grade 7 Associated Board Music Award and Grade 5 theory. Charity Fun Run Team event winners meddle. Participation in a range of team sports and involvement in the University Trampoline and Fencing clubs.
