My Family
I was married to my first husband for almost 20 years when it ended up in a divorce. We had three children within those married years. We had 2 boys and 1 girl. Robert is now 38, Karen will be 34 and if Donald were still alive he would have been 36. Donald was living here in Florida with his stepfather and I when he was killed by a hit and run driver. Donald was killed in November 1987, at the age of 23.
I remarried my second husband George in August 1982. George was a friend of my folks for many years and lived here in Florida. George and I were married 13 years when he passed away in April 1996. He was very ill for almost 2 years. He is in much better hands today.
I have six grandchildren ranging from three years to eighteen years of age. My son Robert has four. Two of his four are from a previous marriage Eileen 18 and
Jo Ann 16. He and his wife Gisela have two children Areka 12 and Zackary soon to be 11.
Robert and Karen both attended our wedding. Also attending were my two eldest granddaughters, Eileen and Jo Ann.
My son and his family live in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. All my children were born and raised there. I was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on January 17th 1940.
My folks moved to Trevose when I was 9 months old and I have lived there until I moved here to Florida in 1982.
My daughter Karen and her husband John have two girls. The oldest Rachael 11 is her sister Megan 3 years old. Karen and John have a home in Levittown, Pennsylvania. They have been there for about six years.
For the Christmas and New Year Holiday of 1999, Karen and John and their girls flew down to visit with Pete and I. I had the house decorated for Christmas with lights, Christmas tree and pretty ornaments. On Christmas day we went to Disney World. We all stayed for the weekend and also went to Sea World and MGM Studios. It was chilly, but we all had a good time.
I have a brother Bryon who is four years younger than I. He lives in Morrisville, Pennsylvania and is married to Laura. He has a son Bryon, JR. and also has 3 grandchildren. I do not see much of him these days. Sometimes that happens in families.
This is picture of my son Robert and my daughter Karen. This is a most recent picture I have of them together. It was taken on New Years Eve 1997. I took this picture as they were dancing. It was a rare occasion for the both of them. As you can tell I am very proud of both my children. I love them very much as well as their families. May God Bless them all.

We have a big beautiful home in Lutz, Florida on an acre of ground. We are very happy we found each other. Pete also has grand children ranging from 2 to 17 years of age.
My Wedding Pictures
On November 27, 1999, I married a wonderful man who swept me off my feet. His name is Peter D. Secrist. We had a beautiful church wedding and reception with family and friends attending.
This is a picture of the wedding party. From left to right is the Matron of Honor Kimberly Paczynski (KD4MEE). Next to Kim is the Best Man John Thomas (KC8ITG). Next the Bride Janice Secrist and Groom Peter Secrist. The young fellow next to the groom is Timothy Stone (WW4TIM)who gave the bride away. In front stand the Flower Girl Brianna Paczynski and Ring Bearer Zackary Paczynski. All the adults in the wedding party are also Amateur Ham Radio Licensed Operators.
This is the happy couple Peter and Janice Secrist whom became one in Holy Matrimony, on November 27th, 1999. They were married at the First Baptist Church in Pinellas Park, Florida. There reception was held in the church hall after the ceremony with one hundred guests attending. Their honeymoon was taken later in April 2000. They traveled to Ohio, Canada, New York , Pennsylvania then back to their home in Lutz, Florida.
This a picture of the Bride Janice and her two children Karen Campbell age 34 of Levittown, Pennsylvania on the left and her son Robert Meyerle age 38 from Langhorne, Pennsylvania on the right. They both flew down to Florida to be with their mother on her special day. Robert and the grooms sister Priscilla both light the candles on the alter of the church before the ceremony. This showed unity between the two families.
This is a picture of the Groom Peter and his sister Priscilla with her husband who was the Best Man John Thomas. They drove down to Florida from Jackson, Ohio to celebrate the occasion. Both Priscilla (KC8JRU) and John (KC8ITG) are Amateur Ham Radio Licensed Operators. They are both school teachers in Ohio. Priscilla teaches French and English. John teaches Carpentry in a Vocational Educational School. Both teach high school students. They are looking forward to retiring in two or four more years.
