You're Invited to the 6th Annual Brian & Deb H a l l o w e e n P a r t y ! Saturday, October 31st, 2009 ...starting at the setting of the Sun and lasting until? Help us set up and hand out candy early or some later after trick-or-treating for our adult treats... Brian Bodnar's Place 2229 Ferndale Road Chesapeake, VA 23323-5016
We'll provide the adult Halloween atmosphere. You bring the bodies. Don't be a DEADbeat - No need to be as quiet as a tomb. You can shake your bones and wake the dead with the usual eclectic mix of music (mostly dance, alternative, pop, hip-hop/rap, world, 80's, electronica with some rock, oldies, ska, country, ethnic, industrial, reggae, blues, and sound bites thrown in - get any requests to us early.) ...and the disco lights and fog machine will be on. (now that is scary) We'll be providing some of our now famous hot snack food. BYOB if you wish, but there will be a supply of intoxicating liquids (beer, wine, mixed) for your use while supplies last. (you could probably use a STIFF drink, couldn't you?) If all else fails, we'll watch scary movies or the "Rocky Horror Picture Show". Bring along a snack or treat - but it's certainly not required... think crackers, cheese, chips, dip, cookies, cake, fruit, finger sandwiches, etc. Bring along some friends, co-workers, and/or family members. Stop by anytime that evening... Costumes are purely optional, but here's your chance to try out your Halloween garb. Hope to see you there! (Duh, I doubt you can miss which house it is...)

The 2009 Brian and Deb Halloween Party Flyer to the left... double click to view the larger version. Then right click and choose 'save picture as' to save it to your computer to print later by centering it and sizing to fit.
The Rules and Disclaimers: Please refrain from parking ON my neighbors' yards especially 2225 Ferndale Road. (parking on street is okay as long as you don't completely block it or destroy my neighbors' lawns... and parking all over my yard is fine so do it - I really don't mind) I can't guarantee that you'll not be subjected to profane audio/visual and the like. No illegal drugs and no underage drinking. No one drives away from this shindig under the influence. (everyone should pile on top of anyone trying to and we will take the keys and get you an alternate way home, or make you crash on some piece of slightly comfortable furniture or even just plan ahead to camp out in my backyard - shit, there's an idea!) Follow the signs posted in the house to find your way. Be careful with your costumes as there are open flames inside. The fog inside is safe and non-toxic but those with breathing problems such as asthma may be sensitive to it. Some of the edged weapons within my abode are functional so don't handle them without my blessing.
