Glorious Kings and their reigns come and go, bringing places like the Pridelands, the Mwenge, and the Outlands cycles of greatness and nothingness. But on the far side of the jungle their presence is nearly unfelt. In this land where leopards rule and where no pride has ever taken hold there is still an authority over the land, watching over the herds and fighting off invaders. They are islands in themselves, but unified in thought in purpose. They are invisible in the jungles and caves, shadows in the plains and valley. They are Nos'Kalai.
The land of leopards and panthers has seen it's share of scars, but it's fate is that of the stars. They live on through drought and rains, but the geyser upon the mountain keeps the grasses thirst quenched and the prey plentiful. The burden that makes living difficult in this paradise is not the dry season nor larger predators... it's themselves.
