Will someone tell Mother Nature it is mid-Spring?!  The weather continues to be lousy... April was winter and April showers are happening in May.  Rain was in the forecast this night, but Ed "Weather Houdini" Grey somehow arranged an escape for us and we got the round in.  The downpours held off until we were in the clubhouse!

Even though it was Week 5, the overcast skies and slow play resulted in our last foursome finishing in the dark.  Please keep play moving.  Keep the foursome in front of you in sight, give gimmies and play ready golf if necessary to catch up!

At the top of the standings we are starting to get some separation.  Wendy & John won 2.5 of the last 3 holes vs. Lynne and sub John Vergo to pull out the victory and firm their hold on 1st place.  Wendy had a birdie on her favorite hole, #7.  John Vergo birdied #6.

Pulling into 2nd place was Ted & Scott.  Scott started with a birdie on #1 to lead their team to a win over Adrian & Nick, who are now in 3rd place.

In the closest match of the night James & Cal won #9 by one shot to pull them into a drawn match with George & Skip.

Bob Byrne had his best round of the year by 8 shots!  This gave him the week's low net and led him and Mike to a victory over Nicky & Lorraine

Craig Divney made his first appearance of the year subbing for Bob Kearney.  It was a rough night for him and Dan as they could only take 1.5 holes vs. Ed & Bernard.

Finally Chris Holodak had his best night of the year.  His solid play led him and Colm over Mark & Tony.  Tony is starting to show signs of breaking out.

Maybe we'll all play better... if the weather turns!  We're due for warm weather!  Prepare to pull out your short pants.  Ed is guaranteeing good weather next week!  See you there.

Low Actual:  Scott Stetler with a 39

Low Net:  Bob Byrne with a 28

Hardest Hole: #9 at 2.3 over par.

Easiest Hole: #7 at 1.1 over par.
