Congratulations to our Second Half Champions, Mike Dobransky and Bob Byrne!

In what was an incredible run, Mike and Bob scored 55 points in a rain-shortened 6-week second half.

Going into the last week there was no assurance that they would win as Scott & Ted were right behind them. Scott and Ted put on the pressure by winning 6 holes against George & Skip, a feat in itself. They were led by Ted Atkinson's great night with a 39 actual/27 net, both league highs for the week.

This meant that Bob & Mike needed to win 4 holes to tie and draw the match to win. The match was tight and went down to the last hole, where Mike hit a birdie to take the match.

Mike & Bob also won the total year points race with 109.5 points.

In the league championship match next week Mike and sub Carl Morse will face John Thomas and sub John Vergo. Good luck to both teams.

Week 14 Highlights:

Birdies: Ted Atkinson on #8, and Mike Dobransky to win the 2nd Half Championship on #9! Now that's the way to win!

Significant Pars: Dennis Yee on #4, and 5 players with a par on #9 (Dennis Yee, Stephen Brown, Skip Mahnke, James Jung and Lynne Gignac).

Low Actual and Net Score: It was a great night for Ted Atkinson with a 39/27!!

Hardest Hole: #4 at 2.1 over par.

Easiest Hole: #7 at 1.0 over par.
