As part of MIT's Global Entrepreneurship class, I traveled with four fellow MBA students to Uruguay to work at a company called Scanntech.
Before I got there, I spent a week in the resort town of Punta Del Este, living a life that was completely outside my usual reality. After that, I spent three weeks slaving away
at the startup POS software company and during the weekends was able to sneak in some beach time. I must say that out of all the countries in South America, I never expected Uruguay
to be the one that I know best!

On our way back to Punta Del Este, we witnessed one of the most spectacular sunsets of our lives.

Completely relaxed and at peace with the world, I returned to work. That week, we worked long hours and really earned our stay. On our last day, we finally saw a slice of Montevideo. The picture below
is the "Rambla" which was right outside our hotel.

Of course, in Uruguay, no stay is complete without continuous intake of cow. To mark the end of our time in Uruguay, we celebrated with yet... more meat!
