In reality, I only saw a small part of Chile, but I am sure that it must have been one of the regions with the most intense beauty on the continent. The photos below outline my journey to an 8-day trek in the Patagonian park of the Torres Del Paine.

On Day 7 I braved the Valley of Frances on my
own. Clouds covered the mountains, but the landscape was still
breathtaking.
On our final 2 nights in the park, we camped at
Pehoe by a stunning glacial lake.
On the boat out, we said our final goodbyes to
the Chilean Andes.
