In reality, I only saw a small part of Chile, but I am sure that it must have been one of the regions with the most intense beauty on the continent. The photos below outline my journey to an 8-day trek in the Patagonian park of the Torres Del Paine.

Our view of Grey Glacier as we descended through
the mud slides on the other side of the pass.
Approaching Refugio Grey, we got our last view of
the glacier before setting camp on the beach. We day 6 resting in
the calmness of the glacial setting.
