WELCOME
To My
Holiday Cookie Recipes
Christmas is the best time of the year.
There is a chill in the air, it is so clean and fresh out. The smell of
cookies and all the yummy food is being made. Best of all this is the time we all
celebrate his birth. The day Jesus was born in the manger. As we all start to
celebrate the season, please don't forget to celebrate Jesus!

Jesus Is The Reason For
The Season!

A
DIFFERENT PEANUT BUTTER COOKIE RECIPE
This cookie does not use
flour.
1 cup sugar
1 cup peanut butter
1 stick margarine
3 tablespoons sugar (to roll dough
balls in)
Mix first 3 ingredients together.
Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Roll
balls in the sugar mixture. Place 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Use fork to
make cross cuts in the ball. I also like to sprinkle on a bit more sugar in either red or
green for the holiday.
Bake in a 375 degree oven for 10 to
11 minutes or till edges are golden. Cool cookies on a wire rack.

(When I was a kid I learned this
recipe from a campfire leader when we made them. I then told my mother all about
these cool peanut butter cookies, till this recipe I HATED peanut butter cookies.
She kept telling me you can't make a cookie without flour. Mom had to call the
leader and confirm that my memory was right, we were not given a paper copy of the recipe
to take home. Mom learned that I had a good memory that year. From that time
we make these cookies each year.)
