Favorite Music
Welcome to my music page. For the many years that I have been a part of what we call "LIFE" music has always played an important part in my daily existence. After saying all of that it would be very hard to list all my favorite music on a simple page so I decided to make things simple for me and you.
My format will be as follows: Once a month I will list three to five favorite groups or acts of a particular flavor such as R&B, Blues, Rap..etc. I will also include a hopefully simple review of the album and its contents. The flavor, but not the artists, for the next month will also be included.
FLAVOR OF THE MONTH--Purchases in the month of July
I've been in an R&B type of mood lately so i went out and purchased a few cd's to keep the mood going. First off the bat
"Ghetto Hymns"--Dave Hollister
I do believe I am in love . This album is da bomb baby!!!! Smooth grooves with some decent lyrics. I didn't like a few of the uptempo cuts but overall one of the better releases of '99. I highly recommend this to all the aspiring lovers out there.
Fav cuts: My Favorite Girl, It's Alright, Can't Stay, Come Inside My Room(interlude), My Feelin's and last but not least I'm Sorry.

I actually purchased this cd in January but i'm still vibing off of it. This brotha has been slept on. He actually produced and/or wrote a lot of cuts on Gerald Leverts last cd. Now after saying all that I gotta admit that the brotha is best on the slow jams on the cd and there are to many interludes. I can't understand why people think we want to hear whats on their fake answering machines. Still a good listen just be ready to hit forward on the cd player.

What can I say? Disappointed? Definitely. Waste of my money? Definitely. Wack beats and lyrics? Definitely. Nuff said? I think so.
