The Rescue

 
  Whiff makes Portia invisible and she scouts out some of the underground area based on Ariana's assertion that some areas appear to be more traveled then others by booted feet. Portia returns and informs the party that she has found cells and that there appears to be a party of slavers checking out "the merchandise". 

The party then sets up a battle plan. The narrowness of the pathways in the cell area work to the parties advantage as Portia is able to sneak attack several of the orc guards. Kaldes dispatches one of the guards and ends up fighting and defeating a formidable fighter from the slaver party. Monjhi and Dane work to keep an apparent wizard from escaping as Mar uses his dorje on the remaining slaver. The fight is short and the party is able to release 13 slaves and make their way out of the temple without being challenged again. 

The party makes its way back to the horses (and thankfully they have the brigands horses as well) and are able to get everyone saddled up to begin the trip back.

Eleasias 17

The party makes it to New Keep with the escaped slaves. Aranda in New Keep is warned of the potential of pursuit and Malwick increases the guard on the bridge leading into New Keep from the West. Some money is given to Aranda for caring for the slaves as come the next day, the party will head to Mosstone with Selena.

Eleasias 18

The party makes it to Mosstone. Through the journey, Selena has been very uncommunicative, apparently not very aware of her surroundings and showing no recognition of Conor. Kyrnyn arranges for quarters for her and begins making requests from the druids for assistance.

Eleasias 22

Little has happened in the intervening days. Selena is still unresponsive; even the grand druid is concerned. News continues to
