The Island     Near the bandits encampment was a cave and within that cave a secret door leading into a portion of the crypt is found. Some experimentation is performed with various magical masks leading to some concern with curses but no permanent damage occurs to the party. A secret passage leading deeper into the crypt is found, along with some form of stone creature who appears to be guarding a path past a pit of acid. With some rope work, spell work by Dane and strength from Kaldes, they manage to drop the creature into the acid.  Probing deeper into the crypt finds an undead guardian who paralyzing several of the party before being finished off. Treasure is found (including the material placed in the offering plate). Eleasias 5 The party heads back to Riatavin. The party queries Portia about how much she really knew about the crypt and bandits. She indicates that she was offered "little choice" in the matter by contacts from "associates" who indicated it would be in her best interests as a free agent to assist in the matter.   Prev.
