What are Chakra's and how do they work? Meaning "Wheel of Light" in Sanskrit, Chakra's are at the central core of our body. Chakra's recieve, assimilate and transmit energy via a vortex of spinning life-force energy into or out of the human body. An energetic gateway providing pranic energy and providing an outlet for release and dispersal of spent energy. Chakra's may become distorted, stagnant or out of alignment. The Chakra system may close down for various reasons including stress, inability to express emotions, beliefs incongruent with truth, disconnect with higher power, unhealthy diet, lack of exercise, or exposure to toxicity. Balance is achieved by inviting the Chakra back to there natural state of vibration and frequency. There are Seven Major Chakra's, transmitting and recieving life-force energy often called "Chi", "Qi", "Prana", or "Universal Intellegence". There are also many minor Chakra's which can be located at joints in the body. |
