Alexander Library Reference Desk
A Pathfinder and Tutorial
Module One:  How do I print?
Printing and Photocopying:
One of the most frequently asked questions at the reference desk is 'How do I print out my article?"

The answer depends on who is asking--students can print for free in the undergraduate and graduate reading rooms.

Anyone can print from any computer in the library by using a
COPY CARD and Imaging Services.
Copy Cards:  Copy cards can be purchased just inside the Undergraduate Reading Room located on the ground floor.  Cards cost $1 (includinga $0.40 fee for a new card).  Black and white copies or printing cost $0.15 per page, while color copies are $0.33 per page.  Microform printing is $0.20 per page.  Additional value can be added in $1, $5, $10, or $20 increments.

Self Service Printing & Copying: are available during library building hours.

Imaging Services: Photocopying, printing, document binding, dissertation printing, fax services, scanning, and sales of flash drives, CDs, and floppy disks is available by the Imaging Services center located in the basement.  Costs for staff assisted printing and copying are higher than self-service.  Complete information about the copy center can be found HERE.
