Alexander Library Reference Desk
A Pathfinder and Tutorial
Alexander Library is the largest and oldest of the Rutgers University libraries.  It supports undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs across the humanities and social science disciplines.  The wide variety of collections, special collections, and patrons found in Alexander require the reference desk staff to answer a variety of questions on several topics and disciplines.

This pathfinder and tutorial is designed to assist new employees in finding and using the many resources available to them.

The three modules will guide you through the most common directional questions we get, highlight the Research Resources available on the RU Libraries home page, and provide a tutorial for  a featured database.  Finally, there is a summary page for quick reference while working the desk.
