Alexander Library Reference Desk
A Pathfinder and Tutorial
Module One:  When is it open?
What Time Is It?

Patrons regularly call to ask what our hours are.  They also ask for the hours of other libraries in the system.  If only it were as simple as that!

Rutgers Libraries do not have a single set of hours.  Even within Alexander Library, the building, circulation, reference, imaging center, and all other departments housed at the library each have their own hours of operation.  To further complicate things, the hours change with the semesters and during special periods such as exams and intersessions.
At the Reference Desk, there is usually a print out of the current library schedule.  If there isn't, the file can be found HERE.  Schedules for special periods are also made available.  Click HERE for a PDF file of the Summer 2007 hours.

You can always find the
schedule on-line via the library home page.  Travel directions are also located at this link!
