| Purpose: To glorify God through the talents HE'S given us. My Own Sky (since 1999) My Own Sky was started in 1999 by Tim Serdynski as an acoustic side project from the band he was in at the time. It got such a good response in such a short amount of time, that in 2000 Tim added band members and began booking more than ever. In the second year alone, My Own Sky played nearly 100 concerts. The band went through a series of member changes as Tim was looking for the right people he "clicked" with leading to it's current lineup. Tim's goal for My Own Sky is and has always been to have a family/radio friendly style of music unlike the bands he grew up around. He wanted all ages to be abale to enjoy their concerts and listen to their music. Have they been successful? In 2001, Tim recorded an acoustic EP and it recieved several great reviews from: jesusfreakhideout.com, backbeatsonline.com, mag1320.com, and more. In 2002, My Own Sky's single "You never Have a Reason Why" was chosen for an episode of the WB's hit show "Witchblade". In 2003, My Own Sky was honored to be a part of evants such as Cornerstone Fl., The Florida Music Festival, and Rosco's Chili Challenge as part of Bike Week.
