Prof. Muhammad Thair-Ul-Qadri Every entity needs a spirit which actually forms its being . Minhaj-ul Quran is most fortunate that it has a pure humanitarian personality as its spirit. His father ( Doctor Farid-ud-din Qadri) was a widely travelled scholar, travelling to Syria, Jordan, Baghdad and Madina. He was also fluent in Urdu, Persian and Arabic Literature. He was specially inclined towards mysticism and spiritualism, having recieved orientation through Naqib-ul-Ashraf Ibrahim Sayf-ud-din Gilani at Baghdad. It was his keen ambition to see the tree of islam sprout and blossom in its full vernal and chromatic splendour; and it was the mission of his life to inspire the means for a resurgence of islam. When Dr. Farid-ud-din Qadri visited Saudi Arabia in 1948 and paid homage at Ka'ba for the first time, he prayed to God the followinh; "O Lord! Bless me with a child who will serve you and your faith, who will earn your infinite approcval and blessing both in this world and the next, and who charged with the love and benevolence of the Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) will bring about an intellectual, moral and spiritual revolutionto dig up the foundations of a new era." His prayer was heard and granted. On February 19, 1951 Professor Muhammed Tahir ul-Qadri was born. The Prophet (Peace Be upon Him ) himself conveyed to him the news of the birth of Tahirs birth. The prophet (Peace be upon him) had himslef suggested the name of the child. EDUCATION CAREER Muhammed Tahir started his educational career at Sacred Heart School, Jhang.
