· DECEMBER  ·

Our Marriage Contract issued by the church.

30 - At 3:30am, my cellphone alarmed, I got awake. I was so excited and can't help to think about the wedding. I was supposed to get-up at 4:00am after some mesmerizing but the phone rang, it was the hotel receptionist saying I have a flower delivery from Mr. Boy Mahusay. Wow, the flowers were so beautiful and my bouquet was gorgeous!

At 4:00am, I had my shower and afterwhich, I arranged the wedding accessories on the bed.

It was almost 5:00am when Ross Regala and company came. I texted Louie and he said they are on their way. Ross started to make me up. A little past 5:00am, Louie and company came. While waiting for me to be done, they arranged my gown and the wedding accessories for pictorial then took a bunch of pictures of them. Time check and it was 6:00am. A lot of guests were at the church already according to my Dad, but I'm still not done. Louie went to Mike's room to take pictures of them. At 6:30am, I was done and Louie just came back from Mike's room and said that they left for the church already. The pictorial started. Yeah, enjoyed posing and posing and posing! Ross then made my Mom up.

Almost 7:00am and this time, I started to feel the tension. I changed to my gown, then had more pictorials at the hotel, then left at 7:15am and proceeded to the church. I really can't explain the feeling! I'm feeling cold all over. Good thing my Mom stayed with me at the bridal car.

We're almost there at the church. I can see all the guests and they all gathered together when they saw the bridal car coming, 7:30am. They were all smiling. The happiness that I felt was really superb! The guests went in the church and of course, I stayed at the bridal car at the side of the church, watching each and every guests that arrived. I was looking for Mike but I wasn't able to see him outside the church.

We were supposed to start at 7:45am, but the church coordinators came in late. At 7:50am, the bridal car drove to the church door and I asked the driver, "start na po?". The driver said yes and oooh, what a feeling! We're almost there! The entourage was arranged.

I saw the chandelier lighted up and the Mendelson wedding song started to play then the entourage started to march. Oooh, I was really having goosebumps!

The principal sponsors are about to be done and the driver opened the bridal car. That's my signal that I need to get off the car. The church coordinator arranged my gown, veil and my train. There I was, standing, looking at everybody as they stare upon me. My parents marched halfway the church aisle. The music changed to From This Moment, my bridal march, then the coordinator said, "Sige Ma'am, smile po". Then I said, "Ako na? Lakad nako?". She smiled with a yes. Told myslef, "This is it!".

I took my first step, wobbling a little for the excitement and happiness that I felt. Everyone gazed upon me as I walked down the aisle with a smile on my face and tears almost fell. Was having tears of Joy until I heard someone said, "Ang ganda ng bride... ay umiiyak!". Thought it was funny and I was able to smile again and some more. Met my parents halfway the aisle and there I saw my handsome groom waiting for me at the altar. I felt more happiness. And more when Mike and I went to the altar. The nupital mass started.

We exchanged I do's at around 8:15am. Oh gee, ang sarap ng feeling! We're like in cloud 9!

A little past 8:30am, the mass ended, the priest finally said, "you may kiss the bride". And so we kissed, hugged and kissed again! Kasal na kami! We're really so happy! I almost shed tears.

Recessional pictorial then followed. Seeing all the guests added to the happiness we felt.

At 9:00am, we left the church, the guests proceeded to the reception while we had our pictorial at the church ruins.

It was 9:30am when we arrived at the reception. The program immediately started. We really had so much fun although Mike and I weren't able to eat that much, as expected, but it's ok!

How time flew and after two hours, the program was about to end. Time for the speeches. My dad was the first and it was very touching and he also gave us a prayer. It was the newly wed's turn, it's us!

I wasn't able to control my emotions anymore, I broke down and cry with all the happiness that God has given us, as I did my speech. Was able to gather myself back and continued thanking the guests, as Mike also did with his simple thanks.

It was around 12 noon when all the guests left and so we sat for a while, had some talk on how beautiful our wedding was, as the guests had also said. We left the place after some more minutes and proceeded to the hotel with my family helping us with the gifts and other wedding stuffs.

Mike carried me as we entered the room. Then after arranging the things, they left us. Of course, the rest is... don't disturb! =)

29 - After some sleep, my Dad and I went to the airport. The ETA was moved to 4:06am. We just waited and finally, I saw his face! "Tuloy ang kasal!", I shouted.

We had breakfast at their house and afterwhich, we went to a friend's house who generously let us use their car. Away we go to finish some stuffs we need to do. I was so happy staring at his face tho we're stuck in traffic.

We first went to Tamayo's to pay the balance left then proceeded to Bayview Park Hotel and paid the rooms. We were supposed to go to Angelo's to have some gowns altered but not until we experienced problems with the car. Knowing this, his family advised us to just go home instead, have some rest and be safe. We had lunch before we went home and it was really nice to share the meal with my miney!

Wasn't really able to have enough rest when we went home to our own houses. Mike had to go to the parlor for his haircut and pack his things since we have to check-in at the hotel after some hour.

When I arrived home, my family had most of the things prepared. I just have to gather my stuffs and check important things needed. We were supposed to have dinner for our families to meet again before the wedding but we were too tired to do so... and also, Mike an I weren't allowed to see each other anymore... you know, the old Filipino myth.

We were able to check-in at around past 7 in the evening, yeah, really late. Mike and his familycame some minutes before us and they stayed at the 4th floor while we, on the other hand, stayed at the 6th floor.

After I had a little dinner, I called some of the suppliers to inform them of the hotel room number and remind them of their call time. Then Mike called and we talked on the phone, so excited and tensed, for tomorrow is our big day! After that, I've set the alarm, talked to God, had my prayer then went to sleep.

28 - I was so excited to fetch Michael at the airport. He texted me early in the morning that he was on his way to the airport. But oh no, his flight was delayed! I started to panic but he was able to pacify me and made me sure that everything will be alright. The delay was caused of a mechanical failure with the plane. Well, at least Mike is safe. They checked in at the airport hotel and their flight was re-scheduled tomorrow with ETA of 3:00am.

25 - It's Christmas all over the world. Yeah, we're happy although Mike and I are far apart.
