I have lived in Gaithersburg, Maryland for about 8 years now. If you don't count the occasional vacations here and there. ^.^ And I have to say...it's one of the boringest cities there is! Geez! There is practically no good scenery nor is there any parks that people might enjoy and wander about. But ya know, I survive somehow, and other couple of hundred people living here!
I was recently introduced to Jpop and anime by my brother. AND I THANK HIM! ^_~ I sometimes wonder, if he never got into that stuff, what would I be doing now? Would I still make this page? If so, what could I possibly put in here that would interest anyone? So as you can see, this page has really nothing interesting except for the Jpop and Anime section. And maybe the Gallery. But I guess I shouldn't be expecting alot, I mean this is my first page! (If you don't count my first pointless page @ expage.com which I must say is the easiest but worst webpage making website!) But ANYWAYS, as I was saying...(I hate it when I just start wondering off about certain things on my mind!) This page, as you can see, has just started being built, so please, give me time!
Right..Jpop...Well, here's how it all started: A couple of months ago, my brother all of a sudden gotten into Japanese stuff. First, he was studying it-asking me to quiz him! Then, he started watching anime. I think his first was Kodomo No Omocha (a great anime I must add!). Later he started getting a bit interested in Jpop. (I guess it was from the animes' music starts and endings or something) He started listening to more and more Jpop. Becoming more and more fascinated by every new group he hears. This was probably the time when I started listening to it. I remember sitting on the computer checking my mail when he turned on Hikaru's "Automatic". I have to admit it was quite a amusing tune! I laughed for a little bit. But then started singing the chorus part (which is mostly english). It's catchy too! That was my first Jpop song. I later started to listen to more of her "old" songs. Bonnie&Clyde, First Love, In My Room and others. I was also becoming fascinated with it. Experiencing a new beat with every song. One day, he was watching the international channel for some reason when he came accross the show - Nippon Internation News. Okay, well I don't really remember the exact name but that's not the point! Nippon=Japan. So as you might tell it was Japanese news. That was when I REALLY started getting into Jpop. On those news, they sometimes have the "Singles Chart". That's...well...the singles chart. Which song was number one that month. That month it was Hikaru's First Love! There were others that I don't remember very well but I do remember I liked it a whole lot! That was when he started getting interested in J-shows. In the past, he has discovered lots of Samurain shows, HeyHeyHey Music Champ!!!(a hilarious show which started out as a cooking show...o.O), some kind of interesting police-detective show, and a recent Jpop video show where, as you might have guessed, they show Jpop videos! Well there's the story on how we both got interested in Jpop and anime. I guess he's a pretty big influence for me because I often start liking his favorite things and....you could say I look up to him. -_- If you knew me, you'd know this is a bit shocking! =:^.^:=!!!! I think that should be enough information! hehehe!
