MyDiscus Fish had our humble beginning 15 years ago breeding and supplying discus to local aquariums and tropical fish traders. Our head quarter is located in the world renowned Discus island of Penang, Malaysia. 

Since the first day we started, our goal was to continuously improve and develop our strains of Discus we supply. Our commitment of supplying high quality discus has seen us shed our "mom and pop" image and become one of the largest direct exporter to the Asia Pacific region. With the advent of the internet, this site was constructed as our launch pad to the global market.

Malaysia has always been famous as a producer and exporter of cultured tropical aquarium fish. With the support of the Malaysian government for aquaculture through continuous research and development, Malaysia has grown into one of the world's biggest producer of cultured tropical aquarium fish. One of the biggest beneficiary of this support was the Discus fish industry. The past decade has seen the successful development and breeding of several new Discus strains found only in Malaysia.

At MyDiscus Fish, only the highest quality discus are bred. True strains are developed through a continuous selective breeding program. Tropical weather and good water quality (water is changed twice a day) in Malaysia ensures the health and quality of our fish.

The reason that we have good quality and beautiful Discus is because of our enduring quest for beautiful and high-quality strains. We source for extremely priced pairs, all over Asia, so that we can produce the highest quality offspring's. Because of this, we often pay top dollars for these fishes, and thus, our customers get to own some of the most beautiful Discuses in the world!
