"You can't stay away from him, forever you know." alyssa said, trying to help with my current problem. She was laying on the bed, twirling her hair, while looking thoughtful.
"Says who?" I snapped back at her. I looked out the window. the blinds to the other house was closed. I itched for my razor.
"me, and your sisters, and your mom-" She stopped short., and sighed. "And Taylor."
I looked at my friend, incredlously. "surprise surprise."
"Why don't you just try and understand?"Alyssa suddenly yelled. "Everyone else knows why he broke up with you. itz not like he wanted to. he had no choice! Why don't you just try to make best of it?"
it was pitch black all around. the sky started crying, as someone cried out "NO!" I realized it was me. blood was spiling everywhere from my wrists and legs, and arms.a mirror stood infront of me, and my reflection just laughed. I shook my head, and stood up, walked over infront of Alyssa, stared down at her till I was sure she was unnerved, and quietly said, "because I don't want what i can't have."
All of sudden, his favorite thing in the world, was becoming a tedious job, that had ruined his reationship with his first love. he was looking through a teeny mag, and realzing that if she had her way, the whole world would know about her, and much more then the fact of being his girlfriend.
He looked over at Isaac, who was tuning his guitar, and Zac, who was talking to his dad.
they were practicing for the upcoming show to appear on.
They hadn't been on one since winter of 99, and now they were bringing in the new year, late that night.
"Ready guys?" jay leno asked.
They all nodded, and began playing their new single.
taylor was three beats behind, and his face was strained as he sang the lyrics.
if only i had the guts to feel this way. if only youd look at me and want to stay. if only I'd take you in my arms and say, i wont go coz i need you.
She hated him.
He looked over at isaac, and then stopped playing.
"Ok, whats up?" walker asked his son, in a private conversation.
Taylor sighed. "Nothing. I'm sorry, my fault. lets get this crap over with okay?"
Walker frowned. Taylor never called their music, an appearnce, or a concert, crap. Never.
As they went throught the song, Taylor felt a little relieved, only to be haunted by the look on Lacy's Face when he told her.
