Dazzling Doughnuts
1 Sweetdough recipe
Oil for deep frying
Favorite jelly
or
Vanilla Pudding
or
Any pudding of choice
powdered sugar

Prepare sweetdough recipe, let rise once.

Roll into large 1" thick circle on a floured surface and cut into rounds. For doughnuts with holes, use a big cutter or glass for outer circle, and a smaller one for the hole. Be careful to center nicely.

Let rise for 1/2 hour. Heat deep frying oil, keep on medium flame so the doughnuts have time to fully cook inside.. With a spatula flip upside-down into oil. Fry each side until evenly golden.

Drain on paper towels. Cool before filling. With a cake decorator, squeeze jelly or pudding deep into the center of the doughnut.

Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
