We will always plan to practice or have meets unless:
- Thunder or lightning is present (within 30-45 minutes of practice).
- If the rain is coming down so hard that we cannot see the bottom of the pool.
- The threat of severe weather is imminent. If it is sprinkling, or drizzling, we will
have practice although at meets we tend to wait till rain stops.
- A meet will resume after threat of thunder or lightning stops.
Usually if thunder or lightning stops after about 15 mins. the meet will
continue..
Sometimes this is difficult to determine in time to notify you, so please use your best
judgement and come when you think it is appropriate.
