In the tradition of MSF come the latest lineup of pallette swap secret characters! Yahoo! Here are the current codes for choosing them. Certain people have figured out that the codes are layed out in such a way that the movement of the icon draws certain numbers. I'll be more specific for each character below, but basically, it's like each of the character boxes are dots and the movement of the cursor forms the numbers. If you still don't understand what I mean, try to visualize the movement of the cursor as I describe it. You'll get what I mean.
Hyper Venom
This is Venom in a red or white costume. He's a lot like Carnage, cause he's faster and has a complete ground combo chain and he even has all new special moves and stuff. However, he is a total wuss when it comes to pain. He takes hits even worse than Strider does. Be careful with him, cause you don't wanna get hit by any big combos.
- Start a Game.....
- Move your cursor to Chun Li.....
- Move the controller in the following sequence.....
D, D, R, R, U, U, U, U, L, L, U
- Red Venom's box will appear above Chun-Li's.....
Memory tips: Start at Chun Li, draw the character "1", go back to Chun Li then draw the character "2". Then go counter clockwise up to Chun li's box and hit up once more.
Orange Hulk
Basically he's just like the Hulk, with a few differences. In the air, he can chain a complete five hit air combo! I didn't experiment on the ground but he is really much faster than regular Hulk! However, he has lost his super armor! Even puny jabs and shorts will stop him now! Also, his normal attacks are extremely weak too. I'd say that he only does about as much damage as Chun Li now! His specials and supers are still powerful though.

Memory tips: Start at Chun Li, draw the character "3", go back to Chun Li then draw the character "4". Then go counter clockwise until you get to Ryu's box, then hit up once more.
Mega War Machine
No, not really Iron Man: Mega War Machine! I guess Marvel's copyright thing even affects secret characters. I mean, this guy should be called Iron Man but if you look at his name, it still says War Machine. He's basically an unstoppable zombie with a missile launcher. Like Mega Zangief, he cannot be made to flinch, but then again he can't block either!
- Start a Game.....
- Move your cursor to Zangief.....
- Move the controller in the following sequence.....
R, R, U, U, L, L, D, D, R, R, U, U, U, U, U
- Iron Man's box will appear above Zangief's.....
Memory tips: Start at Zangief, draw the character "5", go back to Zangief then draw the character "6". Go counterclockwise until you hit the box above Zangief.
Roll
Finally! Totally different animation for a secret character!
Megaman's sister has thrown away her housekeeping tools and picked up some weapons to deal some whoop-ass! She has similar moves and supers to Megaman, but she plays differently from him.

- Move the controller in the following sequence.....
- Roll's box will appear next to Megaman's.....
Memory tips: Start at Zangief, draw the character "5". Then go throught the middle up to Megaman's box and hit right once more. This is the only code that does not fit the pattern of the rest.
Shadow Lady
Chun-Li has fallen to the dark side! She's recieved a similar psycho energy enhancement that Charlie got in MSF. I guess Bison always comes out on top whenever someone is hunting him huh? She is very very powerful in this mode but it's harder for her to combo into supers.

Lilith
Morrigan's "other self" has completely taken over her body and is now in control! As Lilith, she has different supers and fireballs. She plays about the same but if regular Morrigan is Ryu, then Lilith is Ken cause her supers look a lot like his!

Shadow
Hey! Charlie's ghost is back again for even more "from the grave" fun! When called upon, he'll do a toned down version of his Shadow Justice super! You can only call him into the screen five times.
- Start a game.....
- Choose your two playable characters.....
- Hold Start+LP+MK+HP before the helper selection screen.....
- Shadow's picture will appear under the last row of helpers.....
Along with Collosus and Iceman, one of the characters dug up, copied and pasted from Children of the Atom! When called upon for help, he moves across the screen like a big metal wall! He can be used five times

Like in the Japanese version of MSF, certain hidden teams will challenge you as long as you accomplish certain requirements. In every instance, you must not lose a single one of your characters. If either one of them is beaten by the computer, then it's all over. Also, you must start from the beginning of the game and you cannot be challenged by a human player. What follows is a short description of the requirements necessary to get em to fight you.
Orange Hulk
An Orange Hulk? Maybe this is Capcom's paathetic attempt at putting the ever lovin blue eyed powerhouse of the Fantastic Four into this game? Anyways, he's faster than regular Hulk but has no super armor.
- Finish at least three opponents with super finishes....
Lilith
Basically Morrigan but with different projectiles and supers. She looks exactly like regular Morrigan except for a color swap.
- Finish at least three opponents with super finishes....
- Completely use all Helper Attacks for at least two rounds....
Mega War Machine
Instead of a Proton Cannon, he's got a Missile Cannon and Mega Armor. He's what happens if you mix Mega Zangief with War Machine...an unstoppable bad ass robot!

- Two of the above super finishes must be Two On Ones....
Roll
This is a female version of Megaman. Now this is what I'm talkin about! She has completely different animation from Megaman even though she has similar moves. She is extremely small and hard to catch. Is her name a bad pun? I mean, Megaman is called Rockman in Japan. Get it? Rock n Roll? ^_^
- Completely use all Helper Attacks for at least four rounds....
- Finish at least five opponents with super finishes....
- Two of the above super finishes must be Two On Ones....
Hyper Venom
Hyper Venom is much faster than the regular version. He also has different special moves. Stay defensive against him but as soon as you see an opening, go for it. Hyper Venom is a real wuss.

Shadow Lady
Well her name is self explanatory ain't it? Well for the slow witted, she is Chun Li after getting the Shadaloo treatment that Charlie got in MSF. She has different moves and supers from the regular version.

These are the codes that don't fall into any other categories. A short description will tell you what each one basically does.
Leader Switch
This trick allows you to determine who fights first on your team. If you don't want your first character to fight first, do this code to let the second character start the fight.

I've heard rumors of Thor, Blanka, Cyber Akuma, Mega Dan and Anita being playable characters but have yet to get confirmation of this. Someone said that he actually saw someone playing as Sakura and Doctor Octopus!
Regarding secret helpers, there appear to be even more than just Shadow and Sentinel. Dhalsim, Gen, Birdie, Ken, Scarlet Witch, Lei Lei and Cammy have all been reported as secret hidden helpers.
Keep in mind though that these are only rumors and nothing more. I'm not saying that I myself have seen these characters. I've only received mail saying that they have been sited. However, there is a big chance that the people sending me those E-mails were either misinformed or simply bullshitting me. If I don't have it on the main part of the tricks section, it means that I myself have not done the code or I've never gotten confirmation from a reliable source. Keep this in mind before E-mailing me about the rumors.
There are also a lot of sites on the net with bullshit codes. Don't listen to them. If it's confirmed, I'd have it. Most of these guys are just trying to get hits or are playing jokes on you guys. Come here or GPOW for the reliable info.
