A small time crook based on the planet Persephone,
Badger has been a constant source of business (and disappointment) for
the Serenity crew. They have known each other for years, and have
a grudging respect for each other, but deep down, Badger and Mal despise
each other. Badger resents Mal's part in the war and is insulted by the
thought that Mal looks down on him. In truth Mal does, but whenever
Badger needs or has a job, Mal will never turn him down... After all,
work is work.
