Teen drivers are the the highest risk age group for being involved in motor vehicle accidents

Half of all fatal teenage accidents occur at night and most weekend nights.  21% of all teenage motor vehicle accidents occur on Saturday and 18% on Sunday.

Most teenage motor vehicle deaths occur during the months of June, July and August.

Vehicles with more than 2 teenagers inside are more likely  to be involved in an accident.

The highest risk group for accidents is the sixteen year  old teen.

40% of all teenagers do not wear seat belts.
