Allah has enjoined Jihad upon Muslims. He has commanded believers to fight His enemies and exalt, elevate and establish His word to restore peace and order on earth. Whenever Muslims set out for Jihad with firmness of faith, singleness of purpose and righteousness of action, they were, with the help of Allah, able to overwhelm and dominate the disbelievers and whenever the Muslims abandoned the way of Jihad, they met disgrace and enslaved by the disbelievers. How ironical is the fact that Muslims, to a great extent, were forgetful of this lesson of history but the disbelievers capitalized on it. The Muslims who put there horses in the water. They burnt there boats there is no third option except fight or Martyred in the way of Allah. They hatched many conspiracies against Muslims. A very significant one among them was to create doubts and misgivings in the hearts of the Muslims about Jehad. So powerful was there propaganda against Jihad that even today, but we cannot but feel its great impact on Muslim Ummah. Even more ironical is the fact that Muslims did not understand all these doubts created by the disbelievers. Here I try to give the purposes of Jihad according to Al-Quran.


As soon as the Allah's Messenger (Peace be upon him) was in Makkah, he was not allowed to fight against the disbelievers, though they (disbelievers) persecuted him and his followers. Then he migrated to Madina. But the disbelievers even then were not ready to abandon the chase and leave him alone. So Allah made it permissible for him to fight.

Then a step forward, Allah made it binding on Muslims to fight in his way. Allah has write down the objective of Jehad in His book (Al Quran) and now for all times to come Allah has made it binding on Muslims to continue their fighting against the disbelievers till the following objectives are achieved:

• Elimination of Persecutation
• Dominance of Islam
• To Force the disbelievers to Pay Jizya
• To Help the Weak and the Oppressed
• To Seek Revenge For the Murder Of a Muslim
• To Punish those who violate their Oaths
• To Fight to Defend
• To Recaptured the Occupied Territory

I have enumerated eight objectives which the Quran has set for Jihad and the Muslims are not to stop Jehad against the disbelievers till these objectives are achieved. Let us see if these objectives, or even some of them, have achieved or not.

Have We Achieved The Desired Objectives .

Once made obligatory Jihad will continue and no one stop it. Because its the order of Allah who set conditions for us that we fight with the disbelievers and exalt them and Inshallah we (Muslims) rise the flag of Islam through out the world. Weak and oppressed came into the shelter of Islam. Islam is a code of life for every men in the world.
Mujahdeen are fighting against the disbelievers in the different parts of the world. Allah's soldiers (Mujahdeen) are in very small but their Hearts are filled with the Love of Allah. They have a training of love and faithfulness with Allah. They came out from theirs homes, left their Parents, Brothers and Sisters, Relatives, Wife, Sons, Daughter, Friends at about every thing of the Universe Only for the sake of Allah that's their God will pleased with them. They know very well that their God give them gift of heaven and they know very well that never died.

Allah has said:

The people who Killed in the way of Allah, You cannot said them dead. They are alive but you cannot know it.

---

According to the Allah's Messenger words that the Jihad will continue until the hour is established. Everyone know very well that the problems of Muslims only solved with Jehad.

Jihad is a virtue
That has been declared a mischief peak. Jihad is a necessity That has been rejected as something unnecessary. Jihad has been a matter of pride
We have undermined ourselves. Jihad has been the door to divine help,
We have shut ourselves. Jihad has been the door
covered martyrdom we have closed upon ourselves. Jihad has been a symbol of greatness
demolished by ourselves. Jihad has been our economy
But we preferred to hold the bagging bowl. Jihad had guaranteed security of Muslims
But we considered it as terrorism. Jihad had been our Protector
Whom we treated as enemy.
