Attitude
Because this is our first issue, we decided that instead of a monthly physical or spiritual plan to help you become more in tune with yourself or just to get you looking and feeling great, we'd take this space to write about girls getting more involved in sports.
"Girls In Action"
Today, girls have limitless possibilities to do whatever they want to do as far as being equal to boys.  Summer soccer leagues, hockey leagues, softball leagues, basketball leagues, school sports teams, and many other groups have opened up the door that once was firmly closed against women, especially in sports.

However, one great step forward toward equality in athleticism for American women doesn't mean that everything is great for everybody.  Even though 1 out of every 3 high school girls in America are involved in sports, there are still many women who don't experience this equality in their home country.  These women from other countries are still fighting the equality battle, and on this note, we should remember those women who fought for or are fighting for equality, but never saw/will see the fruits of their efforts.

Still some don't use this great opportunity to their advantage.  We encourage everyone to be active in whatever way possible.  That's why we dedicated a whole section to fitness.  There are sports for people of all types.  Form soccer to figure skating, from fencing to track, there is a sport out there for everybody!  Go out and be active!
