| II Hideous, unknowable, unlovable, what fair creature would ever dare to discover the love I possess in my heart; the sorrow that grips my soul; the anguish that haunts my dreams; would dare to look past the ugliness to see the saint within; the kindly lover; the passionate poet; the real beauty of me. III I believe heaven weeps for those who are deemed unworthy of love, unworthy of knowing as I stand in the shadows and await those tears to fall and comfort me. |
